MUSICAL WORKSHOP: 60 Washington Muse | NYPL
There's nothing I love more than new musicals, with the one exception of GREAT new musicals. I had a wonderful experience portraying Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney in Lauren Katz and Lina Breining's Across a Crowded Room 20-minute musical presentation of "60 Washington Muse." Inspire by the concept of palimpsest, this original piece examined 60 Washington Mews, an apartment in NYC that has changed in reputation and occupants in NYC. This was a true delight.

PLAY READING: Henrietta in "Skirts Off"
I am so excited to be heading back into the land of Mount Saint Mary Magdalene’s Academy for Girls this time as Henrietta! Nina Slowinski's play, "Skirts Off," follows an eclectic, unsuspecting group of Catholic high school girls who find larger meaning in a frozen yogurt coupon. I'm so excited to see this play through new eyes as Henrietta, who "has probably been over high school since her first middle school dance."

PLAY READING: Frida in "Skirts Off"
I am so excited to be reading for Frida in Nina Slowinski's play, "Skirts Off." Frida is described as, "An extrovert by nature, but she’s felt pretty out of her element since
transferring to Mount Saint Mary Magdalene’s." The play follows an eclectic, unsuspecting group of Catholic high school girls who find larger meaning in a frozen yogurt coupon. This piece, like all plays I have the honor of interacting with, is extremely clever and is chock full of heart and attention to detail.

VOICE OVER: College Board's AP Daily (Latin)
Salvete! I'm nothing if not a nerd. It's been a true joy and privilege to record voice over audio for College Board at Edge Studio in NYC. I took the AP Latin exam back in high school so this is an epic full circle moment for me.

What a treat to start the new year off with a song I've been working on since March of 2024! It's always a joy and a privilege to work with the team behind Pixel Playhouse. NEW SONG: "So Long, Sis" | Pixel Playhouse
It was so much fun to write some lyrics for Pixel Playhouse's ARCANE - The Musical! I've always loved the animation and art style used in Arcane so getting to work on a song for the iconic sister duo was a blast and a half. I wrote a first pass of lyrics and then the awesome Noah Sunday-Lefkowitz joined in with music and additional lyrics. Check it out on YouTube!

New York Public Library's Across a Crowded Room
I was selected to be part of this year's cohort for Across a Crowded Room. This was such a cool experience! I was the lyricist for a new original piece inspired by Three Penny Opera with a focus instead on Elisabeth Hauptmann, the creative force behind many of Kurt Weill's works. My group received feedback from Anna K. Jacobs.

NEW SONG: "Bust This Myth" | Devise and Conquer
Joining event organizers/hosts Danny Feldman and Lizzy Cenicola alongside the cohort of Devise and Conquer Edition 4 was a BLAST! Devise and Conquer is an event co-hosted by Danny Feldman and Lizzy Cenicola in which they invite a small selection of composers, playwrights, and performers to create and perform a musical in 6 hours. Our piece was "All Shark No Bite," which followed the story of Georgie, the son of Bruce, the shark from JAWS, who is on a mission to prove to humans that sharks are gentle, docile creatures. I wrote "Bust This Myth," for Georgie which was performed by the wonderful Kyle Dalsimer. Check it out below!

The Will to Survive (Short Film)
Portraying Abigail in this film was such a treat. This is the first time in a while I've played the protagonist and I was such a blast to be on set with a great cast and crew lead by Kristen Cignarella. I heard whispers of a Winter 2024 release so stay tuned!

I'm thrilled to be performing at the Mile Square Theatre in Hoboken. This will be the first time I've sung in front of an audience since I graduated college (outside of auditions) and I can't wait to share some original music and sing a little "Wicked" with one of the legendary (and absolutely lovely) Glinda's herself, Katie Adams!.

Playbill's Songwriter Series Feature
"Centering on queer characters with an abstractly magical aesthetic, Ribnick's work often toes the line between comfortingly accessible and intriguingly layered." - MARGARET HALL
Never have I been so honored and excited to share news. I am Playbill's Featured Songwriter for March of 2024! It was incredible to be in Playbill's HQ sharing my original music and surrounded by so many of my friends.
