Amanda Ribnick is a performer and award-winning composer, lyricist,
and writer for musical theatre and television.
Described as "comfortingly accessible and intriguingly layered" by Playbill, Amanda is the new musical theatre composer you’re looking to add to your collection. Born on Long Island and raised in South Florida, she credits her tenacity and voracious aptitude for all things theatre to growing up in a highly competitive school environment.

Amanda earned her BFA in Musical Theatre (with Minors in Music Theory and Music Business) from the University of Miami. She kept herself busy outside of her 22 credit hour semesters with two original musical workshops ("The True Story of Stars" [2020] and "Runt" [2022]) and her Knight New Work Award-winning musical web series, "Underground" (2020-23).
Nowadays, you can find her at her Facebook Marketplace piano with her bunny Peaches lounging along the bench or self-taping for everything from short films to musical workshops (Peach sits at the bench for that, too).
